GCT invites all to learn about Roses
Rosarian Michael Mitchell will teach us about his passion and his specialty: roses!
He is past president Garden State Rose Club; American Rose Society Certified consulting rosarian; NYBG rose garden volunteer; Curator, Wyckoff Rose Garden.
He has grown roses for twenty years. Initially a hobby, it became his profession some 14 years ago. His company, Rose Gardens by Michael, Inc. designs, builds, and maintains private and public rose gardens in northern NJ.
Mike is multitalented. He helped create rose gardens to memorialize the three 9/11 attack sites of attack; and a rose garden for a NJ widow whose husband was a Pan Am Flight 103 victim. He also can – and does – procure horse manure himself because spreading it in February does wonders for his 250+ roses in spring.
