Bill Kolvek Presentation

Founder/Owner of
Bill Kolvek Perennials (BKP), Bill Kolvek will draw from his vast knowledge
of plants to teach us about late season perennials and bloomers. Color in the garden is not just in spring.
In 1987, Bill founded a native plant nursery to supply the green industry and the general public in and around Bergen and Rockland Counties. The Chestnut Ridge based nursery still offers a large selection of well-grown flowering perennials, grasses, ferns, vines and woody plants. They are Bill’s passion.
You can find Bill’s BKP at the Ramsey Farmer’s Market on Sundays, June through November. Bill also instructs a course at the New York Botanical Garden on another of his passions: Native and Exotic Ornamental Grasses.
